Feature Request: Show the guide / channel list when you lack guide data

Plex should NEVER prevent people from just tuning in the channels to watch TV – I don’t care if you have zero guide data, show the list of channels and let people choose the channel they want to watch…

Guide data is broken on a daily basis, it needs tons of care in feeding, it’s not ready for prime time, and a workable fall back is needed.

Also don’t hide my channels that lack guide data. If I decided to include them, they should be in the list.

I recently got an HDHomeRun but the guide in my area is basically non-existing . I searched like mad for a channel list just to watch my channels. I had to search online for an answer and this is how I got to this thread.

I can’t believe this is the way it’s implemented. Please fix this as soon as possible. I don’t think of it as a feature request is more like a critical bug. Plex shows the files in the library even if it doesn’t have any metadata for them. Its the same thing for TV channels.
