Plex ignores/does not display channels with no guide information

I have been struggling with an issue where I will add new channels to plex. If the guide information fails to populate, plex will ignore the channel as if its not there. It is not displayed in the guide at all.

I can confirm this behavior as Tivimate displays the channel fine. The guide still says No info, but it allows me to view the channel still.
