I use Plex primarily for music. A while back I combined my music libraries with a friend and his music collection. As I didn’t buy the music that went into his library, I would like to explorer it, but as it is much larger than mine, I wouldn’t know where to start. The shuffle feature that shows me random music is not suitable for this purpose, as the collection is also very diverse.
That is why I would like to request a more advanced global radio\shuffle type feature that allows me to take the collection I have and show me songs based on a genre. This should make things easier to dive into my whole collection. I just bought the Plex Pass subscription and I thought, wouldn’t this feature be more effective seeing as how Plex uses Gracenote’s sonic fingerprinting with it?
