Multitasking enhancements came with the release of iOS 9. And now two years later they are essential features for any modern iPad app. There is still no sign of support for them in Plex for iOS though. It’s extra frustrating, since Plex is a perfect candidate for those features. Slide Over for quick music switching when listening music, Split View for viewing TV Shows in parallels with doing some other tasks on iPad. I’m sure it’s fairly obvious that users will hugely benefits from those enhancements, and since iOS, as far as I’m concerned provides a fairly significant number of new Plex Pass subscribers, there is also a good financial reason to keep iOS app up-to-date.
I second this too, with iOS 11 iPad and Plex app for it becomes even more popular
Plex with split view feature would be a great addition to the Plex experience on iPad and iOS 11
Please add this…it’s really annoying not being able to split when watch videos on plex
