I can spend pages describing my utmost love and admiration for the Plex team, but again, that would take pages. But I do want to say thank you for your work and for taking the time to read these suggestions and constantly improve upon the already amazing Plex experience.
I use Plex a lot to listen to music and I know it’s come a long way since the early days, with Plex Mix and Playlist support, it’s awesome! I am running into a bit of an issue with streaming, especially when I’m driving. I cannot stream Plex as my 4G on my phone is no where near reliable (Sprint). So sometimes I like to sync stuff to my phone and play it locally before a long trip. This is where I was sad to see that I had no way to simply “Sync” a playlist. Where Plex finds all the songs in that playlist and pushes them to my Phone (or whatever device I want to Sync to) and then Sync the actual playlist (or recreate it) as a local playlist in my phone in one press. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
I also would love to have control over the Playlist picture. Right now Plex will randomly generate a collage of 4 album covers. I’d like to be able to assign a custom picture as an option as well. I’m a visual person and while the album arts are great, I have a playlist called “BPM” based on the SiriusXM channel. I’d love to have that carry a custom logo I made for it. Stuff like that. Just like how you can customize the Album covers of Movies and TV Shows.
That’s all for now, greatly appreciate your consideration and/or feedback. I’ll try to come here more often as I have a lot of different ideas, I just need to collect them and dispense them here.
