Video playlists are very basic right now. You can only sort them manually.
I would love for Plex video playlists to include more than just Name, Year, and Duration.
Ideally, the Playlist interface would have all of the same features as the Library list has. I’m not sure why there is a distinction here in which playlists are so limited.
Am I supposed to be using this differently? Am I supposed to be using collections? Playlists is one of the most prominent sections of Plex and I would like to use it to create and sort playlists of movies such as “80s Classics”, “Christmas Movies”, “Chick Flicks”, etc. The Collection interface, at least on the Apple TV, is deep in that I have to first go to the Library I want, then to “By Collection” and in there it’s just a bland list of names. I love how the playlists look in the Playlist section.
