Hello, new Plex Pass member here. I moved over from Synology’s PhotoStation and Plex is just so much more powerful. I mostly use Plex to keep photos / videos of my newborn daughter synced, backed up, and easy to share.
Having said that, two features I’d like to request:
- Include video playtime in thumbnail - makes it much easier to tell Apple live pictures vs real videos. I notice in the Plex iOS app “pictures” view this is already enabled (strangely enough not in Timeline view though), and it would be nice to have it enabled in every view.

Plex Webapp - No video duration
2. Camera Upload - include photos & live pictures that have the same filename. I notice only photos get uploaded. Currently I use my Synology’s PhotoStation app for camera uploading, and it would be nice if I could move over entirely to Plex instead.
