Hi everyone, First up thanks to everyone involved in RasPlex its an excellent product.
I have a feature request.
Any chance you could have a wake up on LAN feature?
I have my MediaPC running Plex and I have it go to sleep after 2 hours of inactivity. The power bills here in Queensland Australia are crippling and any power savings make quite a difference.
A WoL client that scans for MACS and then is able to send a wake packet to my MediaPC would be greatly appreciated.

No I didn’t spot that post, thanks for linking it. Ill try that for a starter, but it would be great to have a WoL menu item on RasPlex for when the Plex server is asleep. Just a bit easier for other members of my household who aren’t QUITE as nerdy as me lol.

Would be good if you change your topic title to something like ‘[Feature Request] Wake on Lan - Menu Item’, that way people could spot what’s requested and ‘Like’ if they would also find the feature useful. We will then look at the number of ‘Likes’ to ascertain whether it’s worth looking at providing the functionality. That’s the way the Plex Forums operate.
I don’t know how to change the title of my post now that its up.
Perhaps admin could change it for us?
I’ve written the Python script as per the linked post, and so far it seems to work, but it still would be nice for a menu item within RasPlex to be there.
