I’m sure this has been requested before, but I couldn’t find it. It would be great if my watched status followed me from server to server. If I start watching a show on my home server, it would be awesome to pick up where I left off if I resume watching that show as a guest on my friends server. …

It doesn’t exactly do that, but have a look at the trait plugin. It can sync your various servers and emby and kodi for you, but only for 1 user… And not for your friends servers… But at least If you have to rebuild your server you get your watched status back.
