I searched this section and was surprise to see it not listed as a feature request. According to a previous post that this feature is not a priority and that client feature parity is. I completely understand that making a consistent and enjoyable experience on all platforms is a priority but a little research or insight to this would open the door to an incredible benefit/feature set for Xbox One users.
I don’t know if this actually helps but at least we can vote on it since it is now in the appropriate area for the PlexPass community.
How would you envision this to work with Plex? Your Plex server would populate the OneGuide tables in some way, similar to the TV channels listing?
Or it would integrate the OneGuide somehow into Plex, providing you with a live feed of what is on the OneGuide’s matrix but streaming it all from Plex?
Flesh this idea out a bit more, because what I’ve seen of OneGuide so far either idea isn’t very workable within Plex’s current design. A full redesign of Plex to support this one platform’s app seems a bit much, especially for those of us that don’t have the device. (Or want it, for that matter!)

Sorry to hear your bias and and misinformed opinion. I thought this was a section where the community can suggest and vote for
eatures rather than fanboys trolling what device or method is or isn’t better when used with Plex.
What kind of feedback are you expecting or inspiring from the community if they are responded with such condescending remarks from other members of the community? I joined Plex because I realized they are providing new, simple, and innovated ways of streaming multimedia on a wide range of client device types.
Though you are correct in one aspect that I should have went in detail as how I would envision. I apologize I mean how other video AppChannel providers are already utilizing OneGuide integration (crackle, hulu, Netflix,Funimation, etc.)
Within OneGuide have a subscription for “recently added” for libraries that can be displayed in OneGuide under AppChannel NOT TV Listings as @MikeG6.5 described
f
When searching within OneGuide if a movie or show is already indexed in Plex have it show up as an alternate provider for viewing.
I posted this under the Feature/Bugs forum because my searches under this forum came up empty. However there has been many postings outside of this forum and wanted to make sure it was in the right place so it can be voted on.
This was a simple feature request for a feature that is obviously more complex than you or I know (AppChannel,Video Provider, Search capabilities, and so on) and possibly out of the realm of possibility. But if there were ever a redesign (which happens in a software/service life cycle) that can support future features than this becomes a possibility.
However why can it not be a request even if it were to be ignored by powers to be. As a member isn’t it ok to discuss the possibilities? If it does not relate to you or your setup than you can easily move on instead of alienating and generalizing the community.
Not biased, just uninformed and wanted to know the value of this feature request compared to others already in the queue. I don’t own an Xbox, so all I can do is goggle the OneGuide and see what it presents and how it would tie into Plex’s workings.
What you are showing me above is nothing more than integrating the movies of your library within the OneGuide function, right? So you want a hook into the Plex Libraries you maintain that show those movies and TV shows in OneGuide’s matrix, so you can play it within Plex.
This sounds almost like you a channel’s activity, in that case. A channel to some how publish the library to some place that your OneGuide app can somehow hook into. So where does the OneGuide pull it’s information from? That would be where the channel publishes the info to, then… Similar to how the Trakt channel might work, perhaps?
I just wanted to know how you expected this all to work together. It wasn’t my intention to seem condescending, I just wanted clarification of what you wanted. Which worked, as you were motivated to provide more depth the request.
