New features needed for Xbox One:
-Music
-Plugins
-Integration into OneGuide (unwatched episodes, new movies stream as channels)
It would be convenient to be able to just see the newest episodes as a OneGuide Channel. I know its Microsoft specific but it'd make Plex literally the best experience out there.

There is a post in there where one of the devs has stated some of the stuff in the next update (the two big items are mkv support and music).
You know, I would check out the Xbox One forum, but I'm not willing to pay for a membership until the app does music, so I don't have access to that forum. It has been a really long time now since the app was first released and music was promised some time in the future. The incredibly slow pace of adding essential features to the app does not inspire the confidence that would make me want to subscribe.
Well, that post was aimed at the OP since they in fact have Plex Pass. The app is in active development and it has been stated that music will be in the next update, which is currently in submission to Microsoft according to one of the developers.
To note: if you don't like beta software and helping test software, I would say that getting Plex Pass solely for the xbox app is likely not in your best interest, but that will be up to you.
