[Feature] TV Show/Season growing and latest unwatched autofocus

Something occurred to me while watching a tv show tonight. Wouldn’t it be nice when:

  • Entering a tv show menu that Plex automatically focuses on the first season that contains unwatched episodes
  • Entering a season menu that Plex automatically focuses on the first unwatched episode

Just a thought but I think this would improve browsing in most use case.

This would defintiely be helpful! The less clicks (navigation) to get me to my new / unwatched episodes the better in terms of UX.

I think this is a great idea. Something that could be turned on/off in the settings.

However, I will say this about the idea as well. This isn’t quite needed as there is already the On Deck which automatically pulls the “next” unwatched episode for each show you’re watching.

You would be absolutely right. Still, in some cases, either because you're watching too many shows or because you delete the episodes as you watch them, the show won't appear in the "OnDeck" section. Now, I suggested this feature because it seems quite convenient to me and it shouldn't be too hard to implement but I might be wrong as well!
