The latest plex Android tv version, has a “ugly” orange border around a selected item.
Would like to request an option to enable/disable on users request.
Shouldn’t be to hard to implement.
Last year I pay for this crap. The damn devs even make the border bigger in the new update and created issues!. Stop adding ridiculous stuff and fix the app first instead of breaking it.

I personally think the bar is good and consider it an improvement.
If the user can’t see the card pop up…, I suggested a trip to the opticien.
My whole point is, make it an selectable option. Let the end user decide. My opinion it’s ugly as hell, once again a new “feature” force my throat decided by plex devs. We have options to pick background style, why not have an option to pick border styles.
At least let someone with UX experience, work on it, match the orange a bit better, with the orange corners on new media for example. Overal do a better implementation
Sure I can decide not to use plex, I will definitely remove plex when my sub runs out. Sooner if my older version stops working.
It’s a shame there aren’t good alternatives, Emby looks outdated and Jellyfin is still too rough around the edges.
Please fellow plex users, help me out with some votes. Sure I can understand if you like this feature, help me at least get it as a option the end user can turn it on or off. So A win win for everybody.
Or can someone adapt an Apk for me and change some code?
If you wait a few minutes Plex will do something else.

I’m just hoping at some point the highlighted item is indicated in such a way that I can see it. Right now I’m like T-Rex - I have to make it move before I can identify it as food.
Yeah just wait for it to get even worse… I personally have no problem seeing a selected card on a 55” tv.
Eventually my older version of the app will stop working and I am forced to leave plex. And Emby isn’t a polished option app wise, looks and feels outdated.

I am not the only user who feels plex devs don’t care and the just take the subscriber money and give the end user the finger.
