Feature Request - Put a boarder around the selected TV-shows/cover art to make it easier to tell what is selected. #2

I use the Plex player on my Sony smart TV mostly to watch pre-recorded TV shows, like NOVA, (streaming from my Plex server-computer).

The problem, or feature I would like, is that when the player is showing the Library, and there are several titles on the same row to choose from, it is very hard to tell which title is selected.

Currently the selection shown as a slightly larger picture of the cover art. I cant really tell what is selected so I have to move the remote’s joystick left and right several times just to make out the difference in cover art size.

I would like to see a boarder (maybe in orange like the progress bar) around the cover art (the current selection) to make it stand out more. The TV-shows cover art is hardest to see since the cover art is “landscape” view and has the TV show art in the background.

I’m reposting this as my original post was locked (I didn’t know I needed to vote for it). Please support this feature recommendation - even if you don’t need it yourself.

Thanks for reading and considering this.

I would like to see this on the FireStick also…

I’ve been out of votes for years now, and I don’t want to remove my votes from older features to vote on newer ones because it then looks like the old feature isn’t needed anymore… I think users should be given a new vote if a feature they have voted on is older than 1 year old. Than I could vote for features like this.

There is an existing request for this. Rather than splitting votes across multiple threads, it’s best to add your vote and comments to the existing one.

Couldn’t have said it better myself, locked.
