I’m not sure if plex uses python 2 for any of its functions but just in case it does fedora 41 plan on retiring it. They state Changes/RetirePython2.7 - Fedora Project Wiki - There will be no Python 2 in Fedora 41+ other than PyPy.
Anyhow, FYI… if its important and just ignore if its not.
As of PMS 1.41.0/1.42.0, there will be no Python in Plex.
Everything has been migrating to C++ since the deprecation announcement some 3 years ago.
There will likely be some matching issues for those who’ve not upgraded but Engineering is paying special attention to that because it will be forcibly upgrading the matching as the final piece of python (internal to PMS only) is removed.
