A few UI and general usage things I’ve found.

  • Chapters will not display in drop down menu during playback when accessing another episode from the minimized up next display (ex. Credits rolling on episode > menu button to select another episode > play episode > pull down episode info, no chapters present). Chapters are present when exiting fully back to the main menu and selecting an episode from there.

  • There appears to be a very slight frame drop when bringing up the time index (tap on touch surface to see time remaining). The video goes very slightly choppy executing this.

  • when subtitles are activated (most noticably in the case of forced subtitles) there is a hiccup as the subtitles are first generated. So for instance if you’re 15 minutes into something and the subtitles are about to come up there is a small hiccup like a 1/4-1/2 second drop as they’re activated. They’re fine after the initial hiccup.

I can’t reproduce this problem at all, it always work perfectly fine for me. Can you reproduce it reliably every single time? If so, is there a chance you can share a video with the whole process? (showing how it doesn’t work when you access the next video from the post play screen, but then if you stop playback and play it from the main menu it works)

Just trying to understand better what’s going on :sweat_smile:

I took a video of how I’m able to produce the bug. It happens 100% of the time if you go to an episode via the post play screen (or even menu to minimize the credits in the episode and select the next episode): https://youtu.be/Bn0SnAm3RJY

2 things I’m not a big fan of with the new update…

  1. When you click the screen during playback, the screen greys/dimns, and takes up a lot of the screen. It’s a pain.

  2. Not showing the time left of an episode during playback.

I’d reallly love to see these issues fixed as Plex is my main streaming source. You guys rock through and the new version is pretty sweet

PLEASE let us have the option to remove “Recommended” and “Recently Added”.
