Feedback on the new music app (Plexamp) for iOS devices (iPad)

Correct. I was doing my best to stay focused that I totally forgot to mention the elimination of Music Videos, so thanks for bringing that up.

Where in a “headless” NAS system are the music files stored? Not on my current Plex-dedicated PC, I am guessing.

I currently have two separate sound systems both using Plex to stream music to two separate receivers through two separate smart TVs. If I were to go to such a system, will I need two NAS devices?

Why can’t you just rescusitate the original Plex app, or some stripped down version of it . . . perhaps for music only?

In this “headless” scenario you have a new mini computer, running Plexamp, and it looks to the same Plex server you use now for the files. You do not need one NAS per player, just as you do not need a new NAS per each TV on which you watch videos.

Basically, you swap a way to play music with Plex on your TV for a new gadget that plays Plex music.

Yes, it is going to be inconvenient (or impossible) for some of us.
