Again, I do not mind having to use three different apps to stream my content. Just, please, make it simple, allow me to declutter the interface, make it reliable. I do appreciate you efforts to deliver on this.
Observations . . .
When I open this new Plex on my iPad, I always have to select the user. Why? There is only one user: me.
When I open it fresh, the app always takes me to this new Home Page tab. If I open it (being already opened but not closed down) it takes me to the Libraries tab. I would prefer that it always takes me directly to the Libraries tab.
The Home Page tab is of no value to me 99% of the time. I do not use Plex to watch 3rd party content, and do not anticipate that I ever will. This is ostensibly just a marketing ploy to generate revenues for you. I have no problem with you seeking revenues, but this Home Page tab is a cluttered, useless mess. Please slow me to skip this.
There are 4 tabs on the main screen: Home Page, Libraries, Live TV and Discover. Of these, my only interest is Libraries. The other three are cluttery, sales-oriented distractions. Put them there, if you must, but please allow me to skip them and to go quickly to the Libraries.
Once I am on the Libraries tab, it all seems good. I can start content quickly. I can change to a different library easily. So far, this is all good.
My needs are simple. 1. Open app. 2. Select library. 3. Select specific content (always albums). 4. Stream to my devices: TVs, iPad, PC. 4) Share selected libraries with friends.
This is close, I think. Please simplify for those of us not interested in all this 3rd party content. (Most of it seems old discount rack stuff anyway.)
