Where are my pictures, music libraries and playlists in the new iOS app?

As the title, I only seem to have video stuff in the Plex app on my iOS devices? Where have all my music and photo libraries gone, they don’t appear anywhere and they don’t show when viewing all libraries to try and add to favourites.

Oh dear God, I just found this:
New iPad app => no more music - Plex Players / Mobile Devices - Plex Forum

So now I have to have install, and sign in, to 3 seperate apps, instead of one? Who thought that was a good idea?

Why on Earth have you done this? FFS I hope this isn’t going to happen to the TV apps and the Windows one aswell.

What a load of nonsense :frowning:

That’s the edict we have been given. I miss the days when Plex wanted to be a centralized media resource. They added all kinds of cool pieces over the years in effort to meet that goal, and have slowly stripped them away as I suppose they’ve realized they had too many things to focus on.
I miss things like Podcasts, and Auto Photo Upload from my phone. I miss Tidal integration. The very week I started to look into Plex Arcade, they announced its cancellation.

Plex has removed basic features and prime functionality that I used daily and then wonders why their users are in revolt.

and then they feign concern.

and then they gaslight you into thinking that you are the one with the problem, not the product.

Yeah this update pretty much just broke everything I do with Plex on my phone. It’s now totally useless to me.

Check this Discussion out, Music and Photos can be added

I don’t see any way to play videos from a playlist, which is 90% of what I (+my family) do with it. And as OP mentioned, people have app fatigue already, now one app splits to 3? About the dumbest move ever in 2025?
