hopefully someone will help me this time…
I am working on an new transcoder script for my automation workflow.
Actually i switch back to my old script and make some tests and it seems that the playback will no more work and i have no plan why…
i have created some sample files with this command:
ffmpeg -ss 00:40:30.0 -i Jurassic\ World_t00.mkv -map 0:v:0 -c:v libx265 -preset medium -crf 28 -tune zerolatency -tag:v hvc1 -t 00:00:30.0 Jurassic_World.mp4
the behavior of apple tv ist a little bit strange… i can see one second of the movie and after that it loads the movie again. On the web app i can see that atv correctly makes a direct play.
But in the console i see that the transcoder crashes (?)
after the short clip makes a loop it plays 1 second it crashes and play again one second and so on.
By the way, i can play the file in the webplayer and i can play the original file on atv.
if needed i can upload the short test clip.
