Dolby Vision Profile 5 video?

If so, expected behavior with Plex Web. Other clients may be able to play such video.

Look at the Plex Media Info for the files. Are they Dolby Vision Profile 5? Plex does not have a license from Dolby to tonemap DV to SDR. Plex Desktop will direct play Dolby Vision Profile 5 files, but does not tonemap them to SDR. Plex does not support Dolby Vision

Expected behavior for Plex Web. Due to the constraints of the web browser, Plex Web is a very limited client. On Windows, it has no support for HEVC video of any type, including Dolby Vision. Plex Media Server does not support transcoding of Dolby Vision video. Dolby Vision Profile 5 does not have a HDR compatibility layer. Therefore, since the client does not support the format and the server cannot transcode the format, playback fails with the “color space not supported” error. …
