Filmography disappears when switching between apps

Player Version#: 9.24.0.2105 on Samsung S10

If you search for an actor (e.g., Max von Sydow), then select the actor from the People component of the results, the resulting page will have a Filmography section at the bottom.

If you then switch to another app (e.g., Chrome browser to Google something you see) then switch back to Plex, the page no longer has a Filmography section.

If you then go “back”, you have to do your search all over again to try to pull up the person’s page and have the Filmography reappear.

We have been trying to reproduce this on various devices ( Samsungs and Pixels) but cannot. Are you just using the standard application switcher each time.

Im not a Samsung user personally so am not sure what you mean when you quoted “back” are you not using the switching and just clicking some back button? Which version of Android is on that device?

Switching between apps is using the standard Samsung / Android controls to switch.
This screenshot shows the bar used to switch (yellow circle) or go “back” (red circle).

If you use the icon circled in yellow to switch to Chrome, then use the same icon to switch back to Plex, the entire Filmography section is deleted from the page and it terminates as shown in this screenshot.

If you then scroll all the way to the top and use Plex’s “back” button (as encircled in this screenshot) it takes you back to the Home screen and not the last search results page used to locate the actor.

I’m using Android 12 and One UI 4.1.
