Filter by Title Broken? Why does this track appear in filtered results

Hello

I’m trying to filter based on artist and track title. All of the titles I expect to see are showing up, but then there’s some which are appearing for no apparent reason. Here is a partial screen grab showing what I’m seeing.

I want to see all Mozart tracks that have “in F” in the title. But this one track appears that does not have “in F” in the title.

I see a large number of similar results that should not be displayed.

Is there a reason why these are being displayed? it certainly seems buggy to me.

I’m running Plex Version 1.9.7.4460

Thanks

The filter is not only showing “absolute” matches but also “fuzzy” ones.
So minor differencs in e.g. spelling are ignored.
Since the only difference here is a single letter (D instead of F) the search logic considers it a minor difference.

Hrmmm. I guess there’s no way to make it purely absolute? I don’t recall seeing any such setting in the preferences. This is frustrating.

Also, thank you for your quick reply. I appreciate it.

Did you try the search word "in F "
(with an extra space after F)?
It misses the ones with F at the end, but otherwise, it should be okay…
You could expand with or “in F,” etc…

"in F " (without quotes & a space after the F) still includes titles with “in D” in it and not “in F”

“in F” (with quotes) results in 0 items showing.
