There are a lot of options to filter movies, including Resolution, which is great. I would love to see an option to filter movies by Bitrate as well. Kbps and Mbps. For example: Bitrate is greater than 16Mbps or Bitrate is less than 900Kbps or Bitrate is 25Mbps Bonus if you can add the greate…

Bitrate and bit depth are a little different. That existing request is more bit depth related. In video bit depth would be related to color and gradation. Like RGB 8bit video or 10bit HDR video. Which would be a cool option to be able to filter by as well. What I’m asking for is bitrate, which is da…

In the mean time, take a look at ExportTools (yes, it’s still working) Excellent for library curation.

Was just working through my library to see which older rips I need to re-rip at higher bitrate for better quality now that my storage and network are quite a bit roomier now and … can’t filter on bitrate. This would be very nice to have as an advanced filter.

But you can sort by bitrate – in the web app at least.

I’m not really sure why browsing titles by bitrate was deemed more useful than filtering by bitrate but… you’re right, it’s an alternative option that sorta works but doesn’t negate the request. I think filtering is more useful than sorting for a library maintenance\management function. What I want…

In a 2nd step, another script to add films with some resolution/bitrate/whatever threshold automatically to e.g. Ra…

The CSV export in WebTools NG is also still working.

Feature Request topic: “This would be helpful to do in Plex because it’s not there now and I don’t want to use a different tool for it”. Response: “Use a different tool” :squinting_face_with_tongue: The other tools aren’t wrong or bad… I just don’t want a different tool for this, thus supporting …

Fair and understandable. From my perspective, even in perfect conditions a feature request won’t be implemented within weeks, so it’s just an in the meantime-“solution” to fix it now

There’s an existing request for this that has some votes. You’d be better off adding your comments and vote to that thread.
