Filtering Video using multiple genre selections

Having the ability to filter video media using multiple genre selections would be an extremely useful feature addition. I have amassed hundreds of neurosurgical videos from my work with Doctors Without Borders and with Mercy Ships (primarily), as training tools for colleagues and local surgeons. The videos have been taken by either one of my two daughters (both MD candidates) at critical junctures during my surgical OR time, all including voice-over narratives. I have used the “genre” field to categorize the subjects within which each video comprehends. Some are relatively simple procedures, such as a neurolysis procedure, but may also involve diagnosing a simultaneous comorbidity of neuralgia and/or arteriovenous malformation. There are many dozens of “genres” and several closely related that would be beneficial to review in series. Ideally, I could choose more than one procedure and/or diagnostic protocol to target a specific situation. The videos are not Oscar material, but do convey many years of surgical expertise in a concise and clarifying manner that I hope will be tools future surgeons can use over the years. I am quite pleased with Plex and believe this feature would be a valuable addition to what is already an excellent product. Thank you for your consideration.

Android mobile can do this already, I think iOS might as well.

How is it done in IOS?

I am told it is unfortunately not possible currently in iOS.
