I’ve installed the player app on a new Firestick and it does not see the library. On a different Fire TV it can see the library and play files, so I can’t work out what the problem is. Sever has an ethernet connection and all the TVs are on WiFi. Grateful for any help or advice.
Did the Plex app ask you to set your pinned libraries when you first signed onto it? Also, is the server appearing in the More menu?
Hi - no it didn’t. I don’t have a “More’“ menu choice, it says “Your Media”. When I click there it just shows the link for the server app (which is running and can be seen on the other Fire TV.
If you still have not resolved this issue I recommend you check the authorized devices on your account page and confirm you can see this specific Fire Stick listed there. It sounds like you perhaps authorized it with a different Plex account than the one your server is under.
If it is there (and you’re sure it’s not one of your other devices you’re seeing listed there), then go to the three-dots in the upper-right (by the clock) on the home screen, and choose “Reset All Customizations”. The device should go through its initial app setup (that normally happens after you authenticate) and ask you to choose the libraries you want to pin.
