Turning on refresh rate switching in the Plex Client of the Fire Tv Stick 4K causes Transcoding.

Thanks for providing those logs. After a quick investigation, I think it might be related to some issues we’ve fixed in latest 8.5 beta that you can find Android (mobile) beta release notes Is there any chance you could give it a go and see if it fixes your issue?

just gave it a try with the new beta
had to deactivate Resolution and Framerate switching for having correct aspect ratio with
PAL playback.
Ac3 passthrough (Spdif) works.
