FireTV 4k Fails to play certain video files with eac3 audio(even though the device supports it)

Server Version#: 1.30.0.6486
Player Version#: 9.13.0.37280

This is the first time I’ve experienced this issue. When I play certain TV shows nothing actually plays, I just get a black screen and if I hit the enter button on the remote it brings up the onscreen display and that shows playback is stuck at 0 seconds. If I fast forward SOMETIMES the screen will show a single frame but playback does not work.

In plex’s settings on the FireTV stick, I have Passthrough set to “HDMI” I tried to set it to “Disabled” and the video did start playing, but the audio and video were extremely choppy and unwatchable. I’ve also never had to change this setting before so it seems likely my issue is elsewhere.

I tried playing the same episode on the plex web player and my iPad Air 4 and the episode played as expected. This only happens on my FireTV Stick 4k.

Here is a snippet of mediainfo on the file in question:

I got a chance today to grab the logs from Plex on the FireTV. I’m unfamiliar with how things work on android and I don’t see any glaringly obvious issues.

Here is the log:
