The last update broke the HDR in 4k movies, I rollback to the old version to verify and everything is fine, please take note

I rollback to the old version and HDR works, there’s no way to work in the last version.
The log is there.

Solution was reset the Nvidia Shield from scratch and start over
lol not much of a solution
Well, nobody answer positive about my issue, so, i do a reserch and try several things, and that’s how a 30 30 30 hard reset of the Shield was the solution.

Its most likely the fact that Shield hard reset caused Plex go back to version that came with Shield. I simply rolled back Plex to original version in Shield settings.

Well, I do that, but after all process I stop the auto update. Then after sign in and check everything I do the update to the last version and since a week ago all works fine.
The only feature not ready yet is the chapters and the cast.
I’m sure rolling back and not providing logs will fix the problems guys. Great job.

Direct play is NOT working in the last version.
Plus…
- HDR still with issues, acording to my test it fails if you activate any subtitle. (trick: you need to activate the sub, then disable the sub, and again activate the sub and HDR comes, but without subtitle).
2-. “The server is not enough powerful to transcode this file” (this “legend of dead” comes over and over and more in the new versions) I know that is not my hardware, so, or is a server side incompatibility/issue or the APP is avoiding the settings or it can’t handle the setting changes.
Screen Info’s comparison
- Info on screen with new versions shows: “Exceed maximum stream allowed” (where I can change that?)
- Info on screen in the rolling back version shows: “Direct Play”
- When the file is playing and you go to the settingS in the player, the setting “transcoding auto” can’t be changed to ORIGINAL.
I try forced direct play and other not usual changes, but nothing works, rolling back the APP shows direct play at 4K without any trouble, it plays smouth the HDR works fine, no subtitles ´problems, etc.
What happend and why any new version comes with more fails and false fixes?
Rolling back to the original version, fix all problems.
