For years when I try to transcode Live tv on my apple tv it always fails and I get the error:
Playback Stopped
Something went wrong playing your media. Please try again.
Could not direct play because: App cannot direct play this item. Direct play is disabled.
Could not transcode because:
Cannot convert this item. No conversion profile found for protocol hls.
Is this an issue with my setup or is this an apple tv live tv issue? Anyone else have this issue? My plex server runs on macOS and live tv transcoding works perfect on every other client (ios, android, ipad, ftv, shield,).
