FLAC audio files being transcoded by Vizio Plex app

This is a minor issue, but my FLAC audio files are getting transcoded when I use the native vizio app to find and play them. BUT if I use my phone to open plex and cast those same files to the TV, then they are DirectPlayed, no transcoding takes place.

I’m seeing the transcoding/non-transcode status in the server status page.

I only mention it because the Vizio app used to directly play the flac files.

I’m very impressed with the Vizio app overall, though. It plays other files with much more stability than it used to, and even adds subtitles without triggering video transcoding. So please don’t break that when/if you fix this audio issue :slight_smile: Thanks!

My TV is a Vizio P65-F1 that’s about two years old now. All the software is up to date.
