Is that all there is now for libraries? I have a library with 19 folders and several thousand videos. My choice of views is either folder, which then sequentially lists 400 files to scroll through or Movies which lists 4000 odd files thumb nailed.
That all we get now?
If it is I’m off to Emby or Jellyfin…I’m not creating 400 libraries so I can access those files quickly and if its in every other interface it will be coming to the Roku app soon too.
Too bad your focus is on streaming now and not home media library guys (who are paying for Plexpass)
Um, aside from thumbnails of your movies (or a long detailed list) or a folder view… What view are you hoping FOR?
I suppose there are filters, where you can choose only to display movies by genre, year, decade, content rating, collection, director, actor, writer, producer, country, studio resolution, audio language, subtitle language, custom labels, or even custom “collections” which can combine any of the above dynamically.
If only there were more choices than folder or file view.
That when that menu is folded down to icons only, you can find the library quickly by icon color of the icon.
