Force higher remote quality?

I found the following post in the Feature Suggestions section that I think would improve this, please vote:

Default All Clients to Max Internet Streaming

My server keeps getting bogged down transcoding for no reason because clients have a low default setting for internet streaming. They are all capable of streaming original quality, and since I’ve been converting a lot of my files to x265, the transcoded 720p version ends up having a higher bitrate than the original does in 1080 or 4k. Please please please allow the server to choose to default the client bandwidth setting to original by default and save my poor server.

Gotta have this feature! From a plex pass user / admin perspective, why should the default plex client option be to unnecessarily strain my CPU for transcodes when the client’s internet speed can sustain a much higher quality stream - even direct/max? Users generally stick with default options, they are used to streaming platforms like Netflix where these sorts of choices aren’t even available to them, they don’t think about this stuff.
