I know this topic has been brought up before, but all the posts seems really old. To this day, with all the other features plex allows, I still can’t believe they don’t offer a way to ‘scale’ or change the playback to different aspects, zoom, whatever you want to call it, so that a user can make it fit the entire screen as best as possible.
To this day I still use Kodi to stream most of my home media and the only reason is basically because of this issue. With kodi you can easily change and tweak these settings and all my media can be shown full screen on whatever tv I have. And yes I now it might cut things off or yes this isn’t the way the ‘director’ intended it to be seen etc, but thats not the point. Its simply the fact that plex can’t do it when others can.
Until this feature is available on all the different apps (samsung, fire tv, andriod, etc) then it will be able to become my go to home media player.
