Id love for a feature to change my movies etc. to diffrent aspect ratios
mostly things like 2:39:1
My main reason for this request is because i have a ultrawide monitor and i would benefit a lot from it to remove more black bars.
VLC supports this feature, and ive tested it and it works perfectly fine
basicly you just use the crop function in VLC
i mostly want to have this for the windows version,considering my ultrawide monitor
htpc plex has some weird aspect ratio feature,but it is not really what im looking for
i want multiple aspect ratio selections

There’s an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to crop the video to fit certain aspect ratios / change the aspect ratio of the player output. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’ve missed some unique aspect of your suggestion, I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
