I am useing my plex server on TrueOS that is Freebsd based.
Just now i seen that the version is outdated and needs to be updated to the current version.
Is there any way to update the plex server from the terminal?
Anyone who wants to share the terminal cmd for plex server functions?
i have done a little linux and i need to learn how to update the plex server if there is now way out from the terminal.

You can update from the script I couple of different ways. I used a script called PMS_Updater which can be found at https://github.com/mstinaff/PMS_Updater. You can also use ‘pkg update’ && ‘pkg install’ commands to download and install latest ports.
