Friendly Name Advertised to Users

There’s a few posts from years ago on the topic, but I didn’t want to necro a four year old thread… so here I am…

My friendly server name is set as MediaCenter yet my users see my Plex username when accessing the server. At least, my Roku and web users see this.

Is there a way take more control over what users are seeing? I’d just like everyone to see my server name.

I’m seeing there’s a larger thread about this topic in General Feature Discussions that’s been in discussion since 2014!

Guess I’m not too hopeful of seeing this resolved. :-/
