odd anomaly …my plex server has a SERVER NAME
when I login using my username it displays Recently Added TV & Movies on SERVER NAME
but one of my remote users, using a smart TV, hits their PLEX button
it is now displaying Recently Added TV & Movies on MY PLEX USERNAME
their username displays correctly top left.
any ideas why?

Did you add them as a Home User?
no, have always been FRIENDS
but until recently it would display SERVER NAME, not my Plex Username
I’m trying to envision your issue here but its coming up a bit cloudy, can you show us a pic/screen capture or something that gives us all a better idea of what the issue is? Are you trying to say that the added user is able to add items directly to your server or is something just not displaying correctly?
That’s actually intended. Shared users are more likely to be familiar with your user name than your server name.
If you shared 2 servers of yours with other users, they would get shown both your user name and the server name.
