Upgraded my iPad app and am now using the “New Experience”
When making live streaming video (plex live channels, not tuner) full-screen, I still see the handles for resizing the app, pulling up the dock and the “. . .” at the top of the screen to interact with the windowing menu (apple not plex). If I click " . . ." and then choose “Full Screen” it closes the stream, turns the preview player black/empty and I have to juggle channels to get content back.
If I switch content to come directly off Plex Server, full screen operates normally and none of the “handles” are visible.
Side notes, it would be tremendous if:
-“Favorite Channels” was the default when entering the Live TV interface, not “Guide”
-There was a quick button when tapping the player to toggle closed captions. Currently CC’s are 4-taps deep and with some live channels not respecting the default of no captions (looking at you Reelz), one has to turn them on and then back off to actually turn them off. This means every visit to the channel requires roughly 8 taps. It’s laborious.
Thank you.
