It seems that the original request here cannot be voted on anymore, and the request THAT post links to, flat-out no longer exists (probably the old forum before the credential hack from what, 8 years ago or something - I was there!) so please - Plex, consider taking your visualizer on desktop (I doubt anyone cares about this on mobile, as they do not need their phones to start on fire) and giving us an option to put the visualizer on as a Full Screen thing.
Bonus points if you give us the option to adjust brightness, as some of us have huge HDR screens and would like the visualizations, but maybe at a dimmer brightness if we’re trying to relax.
That’s because it’s just a regular thread, not a feature suggestion. I couldn’t find any dead links in that post (or the thread).
That being said… there’s already an existing suggestion thread discussing for Plex to support full screen visualizers. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
Hi Tom. Sorry about that. I was looking at the link in this post in the aforementioned thread - Full Screen Visualizer? - #2 by syncopation - i could have sworn it was 404’ing for me yesterday but yes, it seems to be working now.
And as for the thread you linked to, sorry again - it didn’t show up when I was writing out the subject line of my post yesterday, or in a search I made, so I assumed with surprise that no one had asked about it in a Feature Suggestion post.
