Didn’t see this posted anywhere else. As we enter into this new world of Gen AI with automation, I think it would be extremely cool and helpful to have a Chatbot in place or conjunction to the search bar. Think about it, you log on plex and the Chatbot pops up (or can be hidden) and says, “What do you feel like watching today” and you have options to select genre, moods or type in “some action with a little romance” and bam, it gives you a bunch of recommendations. Adding Gen AI and a Chatbot for searching between your library or online services with ability to add things to your watch list would enhance the user’s ability to find things easier and faster, along with recommendations and insights into the movie/show etc. There are a ton of features that Gen AI and a Chatbot could provide. Chatbot could also be used for a troubleshooting guide for users. I continue to see more and more products in everyday use enhanced with Gen AI and automation and think it could greatly enhance Plex.
