Hi, i’m a new user of Plex and i have a “strange” question for you: how can i modify an agent (or scanner) to get metadata info from the folder name for the video that are inside?
Example:
Folder name 2017-06-16 - GP - Video Test have to “translated” in year-month-day - director - original title metadata.
I need this because i have a lot of folders full of personal recording named 0001.mp4/0002 etc etc and i want to make search easier.
I hope that what I have written is understandable 
not avail using scanner as you can set the year and title in scanner only…
you can write your own agent using an agent template i wrote:

you need to change the title for the metadata to be saved
