I can’t figure it out. I have a large collection of music. Some artist have over 300 albums. Is there a way to change the recently played music option to display the album and not artist?

Unfortunately not. This hub is strictly artist-based.
You can only switch the view mode of your library to ‘Albums’ and sort it ‘by Date played’.
there should be (at least) 3 hubs >
- recently played artists (current recently played music)
- recently played albums
- recently played tracks
other useful hub additions
- recently played genre’s
- recently played radios
I don’t know why plex uses recently played artists, it is the only media player I know of that does this, when pretty much any other music player ‘tracks’ recently played tracks.
The disconnect between Recently Played music being artists, while Recently Added music is albums, is just mind-boggling UI design.
Artists is probably the least useful choice for Recently Played. Ideally, Recently Played should be albums and playlists, similar to Google Play or pretty much any other music service’s UI.
