Getting Started Question

I am brand new to this and have been spending quite a bit of time trying to figure what the best setup for me would be. I am currently in the process of ripping my DVD’s to my PC in a .mkv format in 480p. I am able to stream the videos well onto my Roku streaming stick. I have been looking into options into a NAS or perhaps simply a network hard drive as I am already at 31gb and have barely scratched the collection! If I am not transcoding would something like this work fine?

Or should I just go for a budget friendly NAS of some sort?

I have the 6tb dual version of this attached to my network. Of any issues I have ever encountered, my drive has not been the cause. It’s pretty rock solid, handling every stream in house and up to 5 simultaneous outside streams as well without anyone complaining.
Are they “the best?” Don’t know. I just know mine works, and it works well.
