Are there any tools out there that can create a gif with subtitles from media in your library?
What exactly are you trying to achieve?
Creating a GIF version of your movie (that’ll actually be a massive file given GIF doesn’t provide much of a compression) or just some memes?
I want to be able to export a 5-10 second clip of a show as a gif, with subtitles. So yes, memes, or just sharing funny lines on Twitter or an Instagram story.
I clearly don’t expect to export a 2 hour movie as a GIF.
There’s actually quite an old suggestion about this already…
Just play you video with the subtitles and record it using ShareX.
OK that’s great if you’re on Windows, doesn’t really help for Mac or mobile.

In anyway… with the clarification of this suggestion, I’ll close this thread in favor of the “Sharing small clips of media” one linked above in order to avoid distracting votes from each other (even though both are currently at zero votes).
