I have 2 google home mini’s ready for plex please
+1 for google assistant integration. As a new plex media server users, I didn’t even realize this wasn’t an option yet.
+1 for integration – it’s long past due.
Again…3 mini’s a home and 2 Chromecasts. Really tired of the, “Google just recently updated their service so third parties can now stream music”. You as a team know that that is not what we are asking for. We are asking for the capabilities of being able to ask our Home devices to play video content on our televisions. It’s just sad that I had to specifically point all this out and feels like the team is very out of touch with what the consumers want.

+1 Please support Google Home. Our family has both Google Home and Alexa and all decided unanimously that they prefer the Google device over the Amazon devices so this is how we will be building out our home assistant moving forward.
You’d better hope your home assistant can be built moving forward without Google Home in your Plex - 'cause it ain’t gonna happen.

It contributes only the truth. It does not contribute any false hope.
To be totally realistic, all of the +1s aren’t contributing anything either. This thread is like 2 years old, and it’s not like it’s a niche or an obscure request, they already know tons of people want this functionality. They’ll do it if they decide they want it, and no sooner. No amount of user begging is going to help, especially since this isn’t even in the Feature Requests forum to be voted on, it’s just some random thread that is constantly bumped in the Android forum.
