I mean they are so gung ho about VR, the main reason people have this is to watch on their tv’s. ok, so now i can watch from vr couch the same things i can from my real couch! WTF, we want integration. the phlex app stinks and it is better because it does what we want, not all the time but it does.

Can’t argue with that. It is pretty sad that Phlex is the closest that we can get and it’s really sub par at best.

No. If the 20+ requests on the official Plex Facebook (for almost every post they create) and countless requests here are falling of deaf ears then I can only imagine the negative response we will get via email.

Boy, looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was the only one in this thread to point out the fact that the staff has addressed this request in a different thread and try to keep this active in hopes that one of the staff might actually respond. Since it is a fact that the staff/team do in fact read these threads and post’s, it is in everyone’s best interest to follow Plex’s instructions and provide feedback and support in these forums.

Ever since the rumored demise of Google Play Music and being replaced with Youtube Remix…I have already started migrating my collection over from GPM over to my Plex server. Team…you are about to have a potential sh*tstorm on your hands with the amount of people going to be moving over to Plex with their audio. I know you stated that third party music support has just officially launched for Google Home devices. With that being said…can you please provide us with just a little bit of hope that we are not wasting all of our time moving our GPM collections over to Plex? We really are getting screwed over left and right by different parties regarding smart devices and streaming audio and are looking at Plex to be that glimmer of hope.

I cant believe it, another release and they are so happy about the stupid VR. No one cares if I can sit in my living room and watch a tv in a VR living room. They have Alexa, duh add the stupid Google Home support already.

Don’t feel bad. Plex (for music) still doesn’t work correctly with the Echo Dot.
