I could use this is an understatement. I found myself googling other media servers that are compatible with google home because of this and I REALLY donāt want to move from Plex.

I have voted +1 for this.
I have phlex working and it gives better recognition of my music library items than the multi billion dollar team at google manage with google music and their assistant directly, but setting up an apache server and linking the developers āheld together by stringā system isnāt really suitable for most, the whole thing has no reason to dial out to another another mothership.
+1, Google Home+Plex integration should be table stakes at this point.

Well, unfortunately you will be waiting as weāve heard nothing from Plex on whether or not this is even coming.

Yup, shouldnāt be any harder either, Google makes the API just as open and available.
