Google Photos as Plex library

Hi all,
since some months ago Google Drive isn’t connected to Google Photos.
Before this I was used to sync each night my google drive/Photos folder to my local hdd and use it as plex library folder.

How can I do the same now that gPhotos isn’t connected to gDrive?

Photo on Plex has a general lack of features, this would be nice.

100% Love that they have a local library option but Google photos will always be my trusted storage location for my photos. Would love to have a convenient option for sharing those on a big screen.
