I agree that we really need a proper guide, because trying to track down what’s on what channel with the current config is absurdly complicated.

I can’t even currently get my LGC8 to show me anything that’s playing live on 1.18.4.2164 and the latest version of the WebOS client. I can only see what’s coming up next and the other pins.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I special? (I thought you guys would be a good sample to ask.) Thanks!

You can use a companion app, like a tablet or Phone to schedule and record. It works like a remote also with TV that support.

I believe from reading a discussion a while ago it is intended to have a LG Grid EPG, what I have noticed is new features you require WebOS 4 + only. So I’m only guessing that the older versions of WebOS have limitations.

I had a WebOS 1.4 LG a year ago and quickly noticed support dropped for the UNO UI, luckily or unlucky which ever way you view it the TV died. I replaced it with a LG65OLEDB8 which is WebOS 4.1

So if your LG is getting a few years on the clock, it’s a decision of buying a box Client or replacing the TV as time marches on. The Grid view EPG maybe awhile off or you can have it now with a box.

This would keep me from having to buy more nvidia shields to connect to my LG webOS displays to get tolerable TV stream navigation.

+1 this is badly needed. Plex lifetime pass and on webos I can only see 8 live TV channels because it doesn’t work right.

There is a direct need for this grid program guide on this OS
 I can not even get to shows now that are in progress since the last update on the tv. I LOVE plex and some of the people that work on plex are great people having spoke with a few. But we really need this grid guide. Would it be possible to hear from someone that is actually programming this feature so maybe us as customers can maybe help them develop this?

Also wish Plex would add this to the WebOS client. I cannot watch my morning news, it doesn’t show up in the somehow filtered list of 6 things that are playing now. My tuner works and can see it, I can watch on my phone

Please fix the LG app! At least get it working so we can see all the channels again. Grid sure would be nice though

I have the same issue as most others with the LG tv. I can only see about 6 channels of the 67 I have available. This is a real pain. Please fix this!!!

New change to app means you can’t start already in progress TV shows. Please implement grid guide asap
